Bob Gordon helps clear
trees in Slidell, LA

TO: All Employees

FROM: VPOS Management

DATE: September 22, 2005

SUBJECT: Hurricane Katrina Relief

Hurricane Katrina, as you know, was responsible for widespread destruction of homes and lives. Watching the total devastation of the area really makes us feel fortunate for what we have but more importantly makes us want to reach out and help those less fortunate.

Therefore as a family company we would like to let you know what we are doing in response to the hurricane as well as ways you can help.

Our Corporate Response:

1) We have donated resources and personnel to help those areas not receiving immediate assistance from the government, begin to pull their lives together. Bob Gordon hand delivered the tools and spent his personal time there helping people begin to remove trees and other debris from what remains of their homes.

2) Some of our own employees are attempting to open up their houses to refugees of the hurricane so families can be reunited and lives can start over.

3) We are attempting to work with refugees in the Chicago area in order to provide them temporary work and free lunches while working with us.

How you can help:

1) We are holding a clothing/toy drive here at the office. Boxes are be placed in the office so that if you have any type of clothing that you can part with to help these people you can. Remember thousands of these people have been displaced into colder climate areas so clothing of any type will be appreciated.

2) The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has created a provision whereby you can donate your unused time toward the effort. Under the program, employees can donate their sick, vacation or personal days back to VPOS. The company in turn will make a cash donation to any qualified tax-exempt organization providing relief in the region. VPOS can then deduct the amount of the donation from their taxes and employees do not have to count the donated time as income.

We ask that you remember those people affected in any way you can.

Thank you
