Vision POS Appoints Roy Hillier as Chief Operations Officer

Glenview, IL - December 31, 2004 - Vision Point of Sale, Inc. (Vision POS), the nation's leading provider of refurbished point-of-sale systems and solutions, has appointed Roy Hilllier as Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Hillier's new role grew out of his tremendous success as director of operations of Vision POS since 2003. In the position, Mr. Hillier will continue to drive towards streamlining operations to ensure faster, higher-quality customer service and to support new service offerings. Mr. Hillier first worked with Vision POS in 2003 as a senior consultant, and soon joined the Vision POS team as director of operations. Since that time he has been spearheading significant process improvements. His achievements have included a tremendous reduction in response time for new orders and significant improvements in quality control, even as the company has achieved industry-leading growth. A native of South Africa, Mr. Hillier contributes more than a decade in process engineering for various divisions of multinational consumer products giant Unilever PLC in South Africa, Europe and The United States. Mr. Hillier holds a Bachelor in chemical engineering degree from University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, a certificate in management from Henley Management College in the UK, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University).
